a. What rights can be exercised?

Pursuant to Articles 15 to 22 of Regulation 2016/679 of April 27, 2016, any individual whose data has been collected may exercise the following rights:

  • Right to restrict processing
  • Right to data portability

The request must indicate the user's name, first name, email, and if possible, user ID.

After verifying your identity, PANSEA responds within one month after exercising the right. In some cases, due to the complexity or number of requests, this period may be extended by two months.

These rights may be subject to exceptions in certain cases provided by regulations.

In the absence of a response or an unsatisfactory response, the person concerned may contact the data protection authority (CNIL: www.cnil.fr).

Data retention period

PANSEA has established specific rules regarding the retention period of users' personal data. In principle, unless otherwise legally required, data is retained for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected.

The retained data periods are as follows:

  • User data is kept for three years from the last user activity on the site;
  • Audience measurement cookies are stored on the user's terminal for 13 months, and the user’s expressed choice is retained for six months.

c. What is a cookie?

Cookies are small, often encrypted text files stored in your browser on your computer or mobile device when you visit certain websites or applications.

They are intended to collect anonymous information about how users navigate within the site.

However, the data obtained is limited.
